The Munsters (11x14 signed print with border)

A family portrait of everyone's favorite family of monsters!
The original was created using mostly graphite on coffee-stained watercolor paper.

Way back in the 90s, I was lucky enough to have a very small TV in my bedroom (it was pretty rare back then for a kid to have their own TV... ahh, the days of yore). Anyway, that little TV was permanently tuned to Nick at Nite. I loved those shows even though they were filmed way before I was born (in most cases, before my mom was even born). As you can see, I am most certainly still a fan :)

Fun fact: The costumes and appearances of the family members other than Marilyn were based on the classic monsters of Universal Studios films from the 1930s and 1940s. Universal produced The Munsters as well, and was thus able to use these copyrighted designs, including their idiosyncratic version of Frankenstein's monster for Herman. Other studios were free to make films with the Frankenstein creature, for example, but could not use the costume and style of makeup originally created by Jack Pierce for the 1931 Universal Studios film Frankenstein.
